Break….

We have been on a bit of a break.  Having just returned from a month in London and France we are full of good food and wine, perhaps a few extra kilos, loads of pics and best of all – some amazing memories.  Over the next weeks I will be ramping up Good Food Chronicles again – so let me know if there is any recipe you want to see me make, or if you are struggling with anything in the kitchen.

I am back teaching at the Community Education Centre in Wellington. Yesterday I taught an eager class some Greek classics, and my French Pastry and Back to Basics classes are charging ahead at full steam.

This is a great time in Wellington because Wellington on a Plate is running.  We tried a few cocktails at The Library last night. The cocktails we tried aren’t usually on our go to list – and overall they were tasty. The good thing about Wellington on a Plate is you get to be adventurous and try new places and new food or drinks.  Next week we try tequila.  Somehow we have ended up with a few boozy events.  Will also definitely try some of the burgers this week too.
