Old Fashioned Lemonade

Old Fashion Lemonade
2kg castor sugar (I used raw sugar, or you can use a mixture of both)
1 litre water
30g citric acid
30g tartaric acid
Juice from 6-8 lemons
Finely grated zest from 2 lemons
Heat sugars and water in large saucepan until sugar dissolves
Add citric and tartaric acid and stir to dissolve well.
Let syrup cool then add juice and zest.
Bottle in sterilised jars or bottles with stoppers
Dilute with water, sparkling water, gin and soda or whatever takes your fancy.
